Covering the period from 1880 to the present day, the exhibition Pas-de-Calais, Terre de Labeurs showcases photographs paying tribute to the hard work of women and men working in activities related to fishing, rural life, industry and mining in the Pas-de-Calais department. The large collection of photographs were gathered from local, departmental and regional collections and from the workshop of the famous French photographer Robert Doisneau. The exploration led for the different communication supports follows the guidelines of the Pas-de-Calais department, and was focused on an easy visual differentiation of the four themes with bold colors and a black background allowing the photographs to stand out better.
