When the death of a loved one occurs, we enter in what we call a period of mourning caracterised by a feeling of sadness and a questioning of ourself. Synonym of pain, mourning is also considered in psychology as a necessary process of liberation, called resilience.

In a society more and more individualistic, how can we face the loss of a loved one when we find ourself all alone ?

Resilience is a private altar, the sanctuary of a liberating ritual of externalization, which allows to soften our solitude and distress.

Inspired by an asian tradition to burn money or paper gifts for the deaths during the funeral rite or the Qingming Jie, the autel implies a solemn and slow gesture and uses the fire to symbolically send messages to the afterlife.
