Natural intangible phenomena seem to be deeply inspiring and rich for the designer, opening many promising perspectives of innovation for the future. They subtly disrupt and influence our sensitive relation with the world. Their specificities and unusual materiality imply modifications of the traditional approach of the designer and encourage innovation because they create unusual processes. This catalog is the result of 6 months of researches in 2016, gathered like a collection of inspiring phenomena and what it means to witness them, what they can offer and how to use them in a positive way. This essay led to the design of Les Passeurs Atmosphériques, a unique meteorological station designed to channel and inform about the weather in a more poetic and sensitive way.
