METEOROLOGICAL STATION

These atmospheric portals are born from the research of a more intuitive and emotional connexion between us and these invisible natural forces through innovative and meteorological instruments. Gathered, LEONE, HORACE and SANTORIO create a unique ecosystem of moving objects which enliven the domestic spaces and allow people to sensitively feel the meteorological informations.

HORACE is a wall frame which changes its design and color following the variations of humidity outside. When the humidity reaches a peculiar level (80%), the objects delivers an undergrowth perfume in the air. The perfume thus becomes an invisible but yet sensitive information which alerts when the humidity is quite high.

LEONE is a totem whose thin pieces of paper vibrate according to the wind intensity outside. Dancing against each other, the pieces generate peculiar rustles which imitate the sound of the wind. The object thus informs the users with a vibration both visual and acoustic.

SANTORIO is a luminous rock which indicates the temperature of the air outside. Following the variations of temperature measured, the object diffuses a delicate light with a specific color and place.
