PARCOURS

Alexis Blanchard is a designer and artist based in Lyon, France.
He first studied at La Martinière Diderot in Lyon, where he obtained his BTS (Higher Technical Certificate) in Product Design. He then moved to Paris to study at the École Boulle and obtain a Higher Diploma in Applied Arts in Product Design.

After several trips and professional experiences in design and architecture studios in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Stockholm, Sweden (Classon Koivisto Rune), he decided to return to Lyon and launch his career as a freelance designer in 2019.

In his studio, he explores and works with several creative mediums: object design, graphic design, photography, and high-end photo retouching.

He offers his keen eye and skills to prestigious luxury brands such as Maison Zilli, Hermes, Christian Dior, Puiforcat, and Komono. He also works on a freelance basis for magazines such as The New York Times and Harper’s Bazaar.

With his wealth of experience in the luxury sector but keen to return to a more pure and manual form of creation, he is learning a new means of artistic expression: ceramics.

In 2025, he founded his eponymous design house and presented his first collection of unique pieces.
